is VPS SSD 1/2/3 "local raid 10" really physically attached or network/nas

yes I fully understand container vs node

my question is if the raid assembly is actually plugged into the node bus (ie. pcie) or if "local" just means it is in the same rack/building somewhere connected via local network instead

Does the "local" in the marketing for vps ssd really mean it is attached to the node server's actual bus (pcie, etc.)

or does it mean local network?

Just feels a little suspect because the prices are too good?

Trying to find the catch if any...
