Issues with Arch linux, kvm/virtualbox, default kernals, and IPMI

2016-03-23, 05:15 PM
I'm running arch linux (I'm a glutton for punishment) and am trying to use the default arch linux kernel so I can run virtualbox or kvm/qemu as ovh's kernels are static. The boot times out. I'm trying to use the java remote kvm to see what error messages are being thrown (misconfigured grub2? missing kernel modules?), but the app does not download. I've tried restarting the ipmi to no avail. Any suggestions would be very helpful, thank you!
