Hello mprasodjo,

Access to the Vrack requires 2 network cards. Unfortunately the SP models only include one network card.
Our servers from the Infrastructure range are similar to the Enterprise and would be able to work for your project.

Here is a link to our Infrastructure range: https://www.ovh.com/us/dedicated-servers/infra/

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

I found a mistake in my configuration

it shoud be :

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 158.69.xx.17
netmask 255.255.255.255
broadcast 158.69.xx.254
post-up route add 158.69.xx.254 dev eth0
post-up route add default gw <3 first dedicated ip>.254
pre-down route del 158.69.xx.254 dev eth0
pre-down route del default gw 158.69.xx.254

But still need to found how to use a vrack if SP package can use it

I'm new in ovh and still trying to found out on how to use a feature in ovh

Today my dedicated server (SP) is up and running. I installing proxmox in there.
Everything up and running than i got my additional ip address for use in my guest os.
I create a vmac to the ip FO and assign a mac address to proxmox configuration mac address to use in guest os.

I use ubuntu for guest os.
Double check from inside guest os using ifconfig, it show that mac address is already same as a vmac ip FO.

I use configuration that i found in this document http://docs.ovh.ca/en/guides-network-bridging.html

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 158.69.xx.17
netmask 255.255.255.255
broadcast 158.69.xx.254
post-up route add 158.69.xx.254 dev eth0
post-up route add default gw 158.69.xx.254
pre-down route del 158.69.xx.254 dev eth0
pre-down route del default gw 158.69.xx.254

double check with ifconfig and route command, it look good

Now network check
Ping failed including to gateway or to host os
Traceroute fall to it own ip address.

I see a in control panel menu there is a vrack. I also try to use it but i' lost in track on how to use it. I don't know it it support a vrack or not since i'm not found SP in a feature list of vrack.

I already open a ticket to ask about this with number 2015121519001921
But i asking here to get more faster help.

If anyone can help me i really appreciate

Thank you
