Install CentOS from OVH NAS drive

2015-12-02, 10:28 AM
I am trying to install CentOS from OVH NAS drive by network booting from OVH kernel and have a few basic questions. My intention is to load and start Anaconda from an image stored in NAS drive after loading the OVH kernel.

I see that only the devices that are directly attached to the server are available for network boot. How can one load the image from the NAS drive after loading the OVH kenel during network boot?

Is the rescue mode more suitable for this kind of installation?

Does OVH provide any support for PXE boot for custom installations?

Has anyone tried this successfully? If yes, request you to please share some tips and pointers.

Thanks in advance.
